Sippa — Section 03: The Sippa Difference

The Sippa difference

Your symptoms are connected. Your care should be too.

Most women come to Sippa for one thing, often weight loss. Then the rest begins to surface: poor sleep, night sweats, brain fog, hair shedding, low libido, mood changes, and skin that suddenly feels different.

These symptoms rarely show up alone. They should not be treated alone either.

Sippa — Section 04: What We Treat

What we treat

Real medicine for what's actually changing

No wellness fog. No symptom dismissals. We start with your symptoms, your history and often labs, then build care around what is actually changing.

M

Menopause

Perimenopause through postmenopause. Hot flashes, night sweats, mood shifts, brain fog, vaginal dryness, and sleep changes. Treated by physicians who specialize in this stage of life, not as a side note.

What we prescribe

Bioidentical estradiol and progesterone. Testosterone when appropriate. Vaginal estradiol and non-hormonal options when needed.

H

Hormones

The hormone and metabolic workup most clinics skip. We look at estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, insulin, and other markers, then adjust care over time, not after one rushed visit.

How we work

Labs when clinically appropriate, physician-led titration, and follow-up every six to twelve months, with insurance and cash-pay lab options.

W

Weight Loss

Medical weight loss for women whose metabolism shifted and never shifted back. Not willpower lectures. Not coaching apps. Real medicine for a real metabolic change.

What we prescribe

GLP-1s, including semaglutide and tirzepatide when clinically appropriate. Metformin when insulin resistance is part of the picture. Multiple fulfillment options so cost does not decide the care.

S

Skin

Hormonal acne. Melasma. Dryness that suddenly will not quit. Skin changes that arrive as hormones shift, treated by physicians who understand the connection.

What we prescribe

Compounded topicals for melasma and hyperpigmentation, tretinoin, hormonal acne protocols, and prescription moisture support.

H

Hair

Thinning at the part. Shedding in the shower. Eyebrows getting sparse. Chin hairs where there were none. Hair changes are often a hormone signal, not a vanity complaint.

What we prescribe

Compounded minoxidil and spironolactone where indicated. Lash-growth protocols. Topical and oral routes based on your body and your routine.

Z

Sleep

The 3 a.m. wake-ups. The night sweats. Hot flashes that keep pulling you out of sleep. Sleep loss in midlife is a hormone signal, not a lifestyle problem.

How we treat it

Hormone-first when indicated, plus prescription support for insomnia and night sweats. Wearable integration optional.

Sippa — Section 06: Our Story

Our story

We didn't start a startup. We extended a family practice.

Dr. Rhodes has been a board-certified plastic surgeon for over 40 years, with advanced training in bioidentical hormone therapy. His three daughters grew up around medicine, and around one question: why does no one treat the whole picture?

Friends and patients kept telling them the same story: I'm in my 40s. Something is changing. My doctor said stress. The hormone clinic never asked about my weight. The weight clinic would not talk about hormones. I need someone to put it all together.

So the sisters built Sippa with their father as Medical Advisor. The practice they wanted their own sisters, mothers, and friends to walk into.

Built for our sisters. Opened for yours.

Sippa — Section 07: FAQ

Frequently asked

The questions worth answering.

Is Sippa only for menopause?

No. Menopause matters, but it is not the whole story. Sippa is built for women navigating the bigger midlife picture: perimenopause, menopause, weight loss, hormones, sleep, skin, hair, intimacy, and the symptoms that tend to show up together.

Can Sippa help with midlife weight loss?

Yes, when it is clinically appropriate. And if you have been doing 'all the right things' and your body still feels different, we take that seriously. We look at your symptoms, history, metabolism, hormones, medications, and often labs before building a weight loss plan. Treatment may include GLP-1 medications, metformin, hormone care, or other medical support.

Do you prescribe hormone therapy?

Yes, when hormone therapy is the right fit for your body and your medical history. Sippa may prescribe bioidentical estradiol, progesterone, vaginal estradiol, testosterone, DHEA, or non-hormonal options based on your symptoms, history, labs, and goals.

Do you use labs or blood work?

Often, yes. We start by listening to your symptoms and history, then order labs when clinically appropriate. Blood work can help us understand hormones, thyroid, insulin resistance, metabolic health, and other changes that may be affecting how you feel.

Do you take insurance?

Sippa is a cash-pay membership, which lets us spend more time with you and avoid the usual insurance runaround. HSA/FSA funds may be used when eligible, and we can provide documentation if you choose to submit to insurance yourself. Sippa does not bill insurance directly.

What does membership include?

Membership includes ongoing physician-led care, visits, follow-up, care plan adjustments, refill support, and prescription management when clinically appropriate. Medications and labs may have separate costs depending on the route you choose.

Can I choose my pharmacy?

Yes. When medication is prescribed, we help route it through the option that fits your situation, including local pharmacy, insurance pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, or cash-pay options when available. The goal is simple: the right care path for your body, your budget, and your life.

Where is Sippa available?
