Terms of Use
Welcome to Sippa by Rhodes Med (“Sippa,” “Rhodes Med,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sippa website, including joinsippa.com, related webpages, digital content, forms, communications, links, tools, and other online services that link to these Terms.
By accessing or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the website.
These Terms apply to website use and general digital interactions with Sippa. Additional terms, consents, notices, forms, or agreements may apply to patient intake, telehealth services, medical care, payment, membership, prescription management, Athena, or other patient services.
1. About Sippa
Sippa provides physician-led midlife and menopause medical care for adult women. At launch, Sippa serves adult patients located in Utah.
Sippa uses Athena as its patient management system for intake, scheduling, patient communications, consents, and related patient workflows. If you become a patient, your use of Athena and your receipt of medical care may be subject to additional consents, notices, policies, and terms.
2. Website Content Is Not Medical Advice
The content on our website is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for personalized medical care from a licensed healthcare professional.
Website content may discuss midlife care, menopause, perimenopause, hormones, weight loss, GLP-1 medications, labs, prescriptions, sleep, skin, hair, intimacy, or other health-related topics. This information is general and may not apply to your individual health situation.
You should not rely on website content to make medical decisions. Always seek personalized medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
3. No Emergency Care
Sippa does not provide emergency care through this website, email, SMS/text messaging, Athena messaging, telehealth visits, or any other non-emergency communication channel.
If this is an emergency
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Do not use this website or any Sippa communication channel for urgent or emergency medical needs.
4. No Patient Relationship Created by Website Use
Using this website, reading website content, clicking “Get Started,” sending a general inquiry, signing up for emails, or interacting with advertising does not create a patient-provider relationship with Sippa, Rhodes Med, any clinician, or any medical advisor.
A patient-provider relationship is established only after appropriate intake, consent, clinical review, acceptance for care, and any other required steps are completed through Sippa’s approved patient process.
Sippa may decline to provide care if your needs are outside our scope, if care is not clinically appropriate, if you are outside our service area, or for other lawful reasons.
5. Eligibility
The website and Sippa services are intended for adults only.
By using the website, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
At launch, Sippa provides medical care only to eligible adult patients located in Utah. Telehealth availability depends on state licensure, clinical appropriateness, operational availability, and applicable law.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your identity, age, location, medical history, symptoms, medications, allergies, pregnancy status, and other information requested during intake or care.
6. Athena and Third-Party Services
Sippa uses Athena as its patient management system. You may be directed to Athena to complete intake, scheduling, consents, patient communications, payment, or other patient-related steps.
You may also interact with other third-party services, including payment processors, labs, pharmacies, email platforms, SMS/text messaging providers, analytics tools, advertising platforms, or other operational tools.
We are not responsible for the availability, security, content, policies, or practices of third-party services that we do not control. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Intake, Clinical Review, and Care Decisions
Completing an intake form or requesting care does not guarantee that Sippa will provide treatment, prescribe medication, order labs, or accept you as a patient.
All medical care, including hormone therapy, GLP-1 medications, metformin, skin or hair prescriptions, sleep support, lab orders, pharmacy routing, or other treatments, depends on clinical appropriateness, your health history, applicable law, medical judgment, and available services.
Sippa does not guarantee specific outcomes, symptom improvement, weight loss results, medication access, prescription approval, lab results, insurance reimbursement, pharmacy availability, or clinical eligibility.
8. Prescriptions, Labs, and Pharmacy
When clinically appropriate, Sippa may prescribe medications or order labs as part of care.
Prescriptions may be routed through a local pharmacy, insurance pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, cash-pay pharmacy, or another available pharmacy pathway. Availability, pricing, fulfillment, shipping, timing, and insurance coverage may vary.
Labs may be ordered when clinically appropriate. Lab pricing, insurance coverage, cash-pay options, billing, timing, and availability may vary by lab provider and patient situation.
Sippa does not control third-party pharmacy or lab pricing, availability, processing times, insurance decisions, shipping delays, or pharmacy fulfillment decisions.
9. Payment, Membership, and Billing
Sippa is expected to operate as a cash-pay membership model. Pricing, membership details, cancellation terms, included services, excluded services, labs, medication costs, refill policies, and payment terms may be described on a separate Pricing page, membership agreement, Athena document, or other patient-facing material.
Unless otherwise stated, labs, medications, pharmacy costs, shipping, or third-party services may be separate from membership fees.
Sippa does not bill insurance directly. HSA/FSA funds may be used when eligible, and documentation may be available if you choose to submit to insurance yourself. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan, benefits, and insurer.
You are responsible for all fees, charges, and costs associated with services you choose to receive, subject to the applicable payment and membership terms.
10. Communications, Email, and SMS/Text Messages
By providing your contact information, you agree that Sippa may contact you as described in our Privacy Policy and any applicable consents you provide.
Communications may include appointment-related messages, intake reminders, account or patient portal reminders, payment or membership-related messages, patient care communications, refill or follow-up reminders, service updates, email newsletters, educational content, marketing messages, and SMS/text messages if you provide consent or otherwise opt in.
Some communications may be sent through Athena. Others may be sent through email, SMS/text messaging, website tools, or service providers we use to operate Sippa.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the email. You may opt out of SMS/text messages by replying STOP, where supported, or by contacting [email protected].
Even if you opt out of marketing communications, Sippa may still send non-marketing messages related to appointments, intake, patient care, billing, account status, legal notices, safety-related matters, or other transactional or healthcare-related purposes.
